i <3 coco

It looks like Friday Jan. 22 will be the last you will see Conan O'Brien on NBC. The network has reportedly agreed to pay Conan $32 million, with an additional $12 million going to his staff.

“In the end, Conan was appreciative of the steps NBC made to take care of his staff and crew, and decided to supplement the severance they were getting out of his own pocket,” Polone told The Wrap. “Now he just wants to get back on the air as quickly as possible.”

The main reason why it took forever for NBC and Conan to settle was because Conan wanted his staff to get more $$$$. His staff relocated their lives, their families, spent major money because of the show, and Conan wanted them to be compensated for a lot of it. What a classy guy!

We will have to wait to see what Conan chooses to do on September 1 (due to the settlement). Hopefully, FOX won't mess him up.

NBC released the schedule that will go into effect after the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics that end on Feb. 28:

Project Runway is back to New York for its second season on Lifetime.

Many fans were disappointed throughout the season with the contestants and how the show was produced. There was also a lack of Nina Garcia and Michael Kors in many of the episodes.

The fashion director for Marie Claire says she'll be present for EVERY episode this time around. Yay!

"We went about the process of casting a little differently this time," says Garcia. "I think we did a more extensive reach in terms of the designers and we got a very professional, [talented] and focused group. You'll notice and it's very impressive."

Set your tivos/dvrs for tonight's premiere on Lifetime at 10pm.
Nicole Richie will serve as a guest judge.

x-wb stars <3 mercy

Dawson Leery and Emily Gilmore will be on your tv screens once again on the medical show called Mercy.

James Van Der Beek (Dawson) is going to have a recurring role as Liam West, the hospital's new ICU chief. He will play a cocky, womanizing, and manipulative doctor that clashes with Sands, Harris, and the nurses. Liam is also hiding a deep, dark secret. I bet it's that he misses Joey Porter.
There is a possibility that if viewers like his role, he may be upgraded to a series regular.

Kelly Bishop (Emily) booked a multi-episode erc as a patient of the nurse Sonia. No word is on what her character will be like.

Yay for WB stars for being on NBC!

nbc <3 jay leno more

The Leno Show is officially canceled. It doesn't sound as bad as it sounds.

NBC wants Jay Leno back at his original time at 11:35pm, and back to a similar schedule of the past decade.

However, there is no word on what the official schedule will be after the Winter Olympics yet. The good thing about no more 10'oclock Jay Leno shows is that there should be 5 new pilots coming.

My question is: What about Carson Daly?! How sad for the former TRL host. Hopefully he doesn't get the can.

Here's an article and video on Conan's hilarious monologue about the drama:

i <3 american idol season 9

The juggernaut is back. American Idol premieres tonight with a 2 hour episode starting at 8pm.

AI will be different this year. During the audition episodes, there will be guests judges (Victoria Beckham, Mary J. Blige, Kristin Chenoweth, Neil Patrick Harris, Joe Jonas, Avril Lavigne, Katy Perry and Shania Twain), and no Paula Abdul.

Starting the Hollywood week episodes, Ellen DeGeneres will officially be sitting in Abdul's seat.

However, 2011 American Idol will be different again. Yesterday, Simon Cowell told reporters at the TV Critics Association winter press tour: "There's been a lot of speculation [about my future], partly because we didn't have an agreement. We reached an agreement formally about half past 11 this morning. Where we have come to is that The X Factor will launch in America in 2011, with me judging the show and executive producing the show, and because of that, this will be my last season on American Idol this year."

Read more about the story that E! Online posted.

Fans have been asking: "Who will replace him?" "Will the show fail without him?" "Will Ellen be the new face of AI?"

We won't know until 2011, but other TV networks must be happy this juggernaut will start losing its power.

Here's a schedule of this year's American Idol if you want to decide when you want to start watching:

i <3 all that is glee

Glee won't be on air until April (due to FOX not wanting Glee to fail when Winter Olympics is on), but there is news to be told.

Gleeks rejoice! Glee has been renewed by FOX for a SECOND season. The show continues to do well in ratings and in awards shows. The show has snagged four Golden Globe nominations and a Screen Actors Guild nomination, and just won a People's Choice Award for Favorite New TV Comedy.

Glee returns Tuesday, April 13.

Watch what Mark Salling (Puck) thinks about Glee...(musically):

100 himym <3 musicals

I apologize for the lack of posts, but I'm back for the winter season!

Tonight marks the 100th episode of How I Met Your Mother. If you haven't heard already, there will be singing and dancing on tonight's NEW episode. There will also be new information to something about the mother. Dun dun dahhhhh!

This probably won't be as amazing as any of Glee's songs, but Neil Patrick Harris and the cast will be sure to brighten up your living room.

Here is what US Today had to say about the 100th episode: (Highlight for spoilers)
For its 100th episode Jan. 11 (8 ET/PT), the CBS comedy’s cast will perform a grand musical number featuring 65 dancers and a 50-person orchestra. “It almost felt like an old-school MGM musical to me. It was a lot of cast and crew grouping together to make it special,” says Neil Patrick Harris, who plays the womanizing Barney. Harris, joined by fellow cast members Josh Radnor, Jason Segel, Alyson Hannigan and Cobie Smulders, is at the center of the 2½-minute song-and-dance piece: Nothing Suits Me Like a Suit. USA TODAY has a first look at the extravaganza, which was filmed over two days on the Fox studio lot’s New York Street. HIMYM executive producers Carter Bays and Craig Thomas wrote the words and music, then called on the talents of composer John Swihart and choreographer Zach Woodlee (Glee). Bays and Thomas have featured musical elements, such as the Robin Sparkles ’80s teen pop numbers, in episodes of HIMYM, which has a new episode Monday at 8. “The way we viewed it was our 100th episode would end with something that felt like a party, like an on-air party for fans, and create a jubilant celebration moment at the end of the show,” Thomas says. “It feels like a crazy movie fantasyland.” Harris, who has hosted the Tonys and Emmys, is happy Thomas and Bays wrote the song. “I’m glad we didn’t source it out. It still has the same sense of humor and sort of odd, obscure comedic ring to it.” In the episode, “Girls vs. Suits,” the ever-business-suited Barney has the chance to date a hot bartender, but there’s a catch: She disdains men in suits. Thomas describes the ensuing musical extravaganza as “kind of a love song to The Suit, capital T, capital S.” The episode will also reveal more, Thomas says, about the “mother” — Ted’s (Radnor) eventual wife — in the show’s title. “It’s the closest we’ve seen Ted get to answering the question: ‘Who is the mother?’"
